For Americans to travel to Libya these days, it is a bit challenging, and even though they can get a visa to visit the country, it is not a popular occurrence. There are reports that many terrorists have set up their bases in Libya, so for someone to want to visit, it is a bit strange. But, Libya itself is not too great when it comes to having a good American relationship.

There are reports that Americans can only get a visa to visit the country if they are going there to teach English or work in the oil and gas industry. The recent rumors of an American reporter being murdered in Saudi Arabia have not made it look good for both countries.
